Based on my clinical experience as a psychiatrist, I teach a mental health course for G30 international students in their first year as part of the university's general education program. The course aims to raise awareness about common mental disorders and developmental disorders, cultivating students' ability to recognize signs of distress in themselves or peers and respond appropriately. It incorporates questions to ensure understanding and encourages discussion, creating a learning environment that emphasizes interactivity. This includes sharing student reflections while offering supplementary explanations and feedback from the faculty.
